Brief description of the matchmaking platform service:

Wesgro works with greenfield foreign investors and local businesses in supporting fixed capital investments in the Western Cape. Wesgro provides matchmaking services to third party intermediaries in accordance with the requirements specified by the investor. Matchmaking support is provided free of charge.

Benefits/services offered through the matchmaking platform/service:

Access to third party intermediaries that have expertise in the area specified by the investor. ie recommendations of accounting firms that specialise in the field of the investor.

Contact the Wesgro Investment Promotion unit: invest@wesgro.co.za and outline the specific requirement.

Terms, conditions and costs involved in applying to use the matchmaking platform:

Matchmaking is free of charge. However, it is likely that third party support will incur a cost for use of services. Wesgro will also not undertake the role of business development on behalf of a company.

Eligibility criteria for innovators/entrepreneurs to use this platform:

Recommended: Business with turnover >R15m.
