Description of the manufacturing, laboratory equipment and other tools available:

SAREBI’s manufacturing technology centre was launched in 2015. The facility, in Atlantis Cape Town, provides factory space, machinery and tools to entrepreneurs who want to set up manufacturing plants for new products or components in the renewable energy or resource efficiency supply chains. Sarebi recently added 3D CAD software facilities to our suite of services. The manufacturing technology centre also features testing facilities for LED lights and solar water heating systems. The testing facilities are designed with flexibility in mind to promote R&D (Research and Development) and part testing of any of the relevant SANS standards. Design

Funding support available:

SAREBI assists entrepreneurs by providing shared resources which are made available at a reduced cost. SAREBI does not provide direct funding.

SAREBI’s mission is to turn renewable energy and resource-efficiency entrepreneurs into successful business people. We help green-tech entrepreneurs in the renewable, clean, alternative and resource efficiency sectors to build scalable, profitable and sustainable businesses. SAREBI assists businesses in various stages of business development from start-up through growth with a variety of support services. These may range from operational support to enterprise skills training, manufacturing support through coaching.
