Eco-Connect is geared towards grass roots entrepreneurs to firstly create awareness of the dire need to conserve environmental resources and secondly to provide them with turnkey eco-businesses, such as waterless car wash, waste collection, recycling electronic equipment, electric freight service, etc. The programme has a two-prong approach and develops both the entrepreneur and his business. The 8-month programme includes personal development, business feasibility, marketing, sales, finance, technology, quality and all business functions.

The cost to the entrepeneur is free and the programme will be rolled out depending on available funding that is estimated at R350k for the 8 months
